The School is organised by the COST Action 299 "Optical Fibres for New Challenges Facing the Information Society". The purpose of the Spring School is to offer academics and students the opportunity to attend a series of key lectures given by top names in the field of fibre optics, and related to the central themes of the COST 299 Action, as highlighted below. Participants from countries all over the world are cordially invited to take part in the first Spring School, sponsored by the COST 299 action that will be held in Larnaca Cyprus, from 29th March to 1st April 2009. |
